The company was invited to present due to the obtaining the most votes in the “machine intelligence” and “cybersecurity” categories, and the second most votes overall, and ended the day winning the “Best Machine Intelligence Start Up Award”

CheckRecipient was invited to Legal Geek to exhibit at the event in June 2016, as one of the most promising young companies with overlaps in the Law Tech space.

The day consisted of numerous conferences and exhibitions down the “StartUp Alley” with law firms in attendance including Latham & Watkins, Freshfields, Linklaters, Kennedys, Eversheds, Reed Smith and more.

The exhibition stand in the day was manned by Head of Business Development, Abhirukt Sapru, and Sales Director Rob Phillips. The two spoke with numerous lawyers, IT personnel and young companies about the problems with misaddressed and were both pleased with the hugely positive feedback on the CheckRecipient approach and solution to this problem.

The sessions during the conference consisted of a fascinating discussion around Artificial Intelligence in the LawTech space in the morning, followed by some interesting talks around International Lawtech, BlockChain, Innovation in the legal market, and even Investment.

The event then went into the Start Up awards where CheckRecipient was commended for receiving the most category votes in the “Machine Intelligence” and “Cybersecurity” (the second most votes overall) and won the Best Machine Intelligence Start-Up Award, after a well-received and energetic pitch from CEO and Co-founder Tim Sadler.
